Vintage Cart Assembly

NOTE: Depending on the final placement of the 8oz Theatre Popcorn Maker and Vintage Cart,
the stand can be assembled with the wheels or legs on either side.
1.
Assemble the Vintage Cart. See illustrations in Figure 1.
2. Build the stand. Attach both sides of the long stand (1) to the long stand (2) using 2 square
poles and 4 nuts/bolts/washers. Use a wrench to tighten.
IMPORTANT: Check to make sure cart stand is secure.
3. Attach the metal support grid to both sides of the long stand (1 + 2).
4. Turn the stand upside down. Screw the 2 round feet into the bottom of the long stand (1).
5. Align the wheel with the 2 holes in the long stand (2). Thread wheel and tighten with nuts/bolts.
6. Turn the stand over. Place cart wheels on the ground.
CAUTION: Make sure the Vintage Cart legs are assembled correctly and secure;
2 round feet are properly installed, wheels are secure and the cart sits level on the floor.
NOTE: To ensure maximum stability, please fill the sandbag that is included with minimum
40 lbs of sand and place on top of the metal support grid. To ensure that the sand does not
spill or leak out of the bag, make sure to tighten the drawstring, then wrap the cord around
the top part of the bag 4-5 times and tie a knot.
7. Mount the storage cabinet. Attach inside with nuts/bolts/washers as shown.
8. Attach hand rail and side table.
9. Add door storage cabinet door. Align the door pins with the hinges on the front of the cart.
Carefully insert the pins until the door is attached and closes tightly.
10. Place the main unit on its side to check and unlock 4 cart locks.
IMPORTANT: Check to make sure all 4 mounting pins are unlocked: pins are pulled back,
handles are turned either up or down in the unlocked position. (See Figure 2.)
11. With the Vintage Cart fully assembled, center the main unit onto the top of the cart.
12. Reach inside the storage cabinet and lock each of the 4 mounting pins. Pull handle back,
rotate to the top and the spring will guide the handle forward as the pin extends to lock
onto the frame of the Vintage Cart.
WARNING: It is very important to carefully test to make sure main unit is securely
mounted onto the vintage cart before moving.

Main Unit Assembly

1.
Add the kernel filter/warming deck. Align the notches in the deck with the front of
the main unit. Tilt deck to insert, then position into the corners.
2. Attach the kettle tilt knob to the flip arm. Turn clockwise to tighten.
3. Attach the kettle to the motor. Position the kettle's power cord towards your right front
of the main unit, below the outlet. (See Figure 3.) Hold the kettle parallel with the floor of
the main unit, or tilt the kettle slightly forward to slide both side arms of the kettle straight
back into the support brackets on each side, and then down to lock in position. (See Figure 4.)
4. When the side arms are correctly seated into the brackets, flip the kettle up – so that the gear
at the top of the rotating rod will fit easily into the channel on the ceiling of the main unit.
Inspect the top gear and then both brackets to ensure the kettle side arms and rotating rod
are correctly positioned.
5. Attach the kettle's power cord into the kettle's motor outlet located at your top right
forward corner of the unit. (See Figure 5.)
6. Add front (clear) door. Align the door pins with the hinges on the front of main unit.
Carefully insert the pins until the door is attached and closes tightly.
NOTE: The door handle on the upper right has a magnetic seal that will prevent the door
from swinging open. (See Figure 6.)
7. Tilt the bottom plate and insert 2 bottom tabs into 2 slots in the kernel filter/warming deck.
The side tabs stay on the outside of the frame. (See Figure 6.) Push forward until the plate
is flat against the main unit under the closed front door.
8. Slide catch tray into bottom of unit. (See Figure 7)
9. The 8oz Theatre Popcorn Maker is now ready for use.
