8. Troubleshooting

Cause
Humidifier not (properly)
connected to the power supply.
The water tank is empty or the
water level is too low.
The float ring of the water level
sensor is not fitted or is not
fitted correctly.
The appliance is still new.
The humidifier contains stale,
dirty water.
There is limescale on the
atomizer.
The water tank does not
contain enough water.

Remedy
Plug the mains supply plug (properly)
into the socket and switch on the
humidifier.
Fill the water tank with fresh, ideally
boiled or distilled water.
Check the float ring. The "TOP"
marking must be pointing upwards.
Clean the humidifier in accordance
with 7.2 on page 9.
Clean the water tank in accordance
with 7.2 on page 9 and fill it with
fresh, ideally boiled or distilled water.
Descale the atomizer.
Fill the water tank with fresh, ideally
boiled or distilled water.
