Once the IND310drive terminal is open, electrical connections can be made as shown
in Figure 2-2.
The IND310drive terminal is designed to withstand harsh environments. However,
care must be taken when installing cables and/or connectors that enter the terminal
enclosure. To ensure a water tight seal:

Pass the cables through an appropriately sized cable grip before connecting the
wires. For example, the ethernet cable goes through the large cable gland (see
Figure 2-3).

Insert the removable terminal strips or connectors in the appropriate sockets on
either the main board or on the scale card.
Ensure that the cable length from the terminal strip/connector to the terminal
housing is sufficient so that no strain is placed on the terminal strip or connector
assembly when the housing is in the fully open position.
