9. Disposal
Most of the materials from which Hilti tools or appliances are manufactured can be recycled. The materials must
be correctly separated before they can be recycled. In many countries, Hilti has already made arrangements
for taking back old tools and appliances for recycling. Ask Hilti customer service or your Hilti representative
for further information.
The drilling dust collected must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable national regulations.
10. Manufacturer's warranty - tools
Hilti warrants that the tool supplied is free of defects
in material and workmanship. This warranty is valid
so long as the tool is operated and handled correctly,
cleaned and serviced properly and in accordance with
the Hilti Operating Instructions, and the technical
system is maintained. This means that only original
Hilti consumables, components and spare parts may
be used in the tool.

Possible cause
The vacuum cleaner is full.
The suction head is defective.
The suction channel is blocked.
The protruding length of
chisel/accessory is greater than
125 mm.
The TE DRS B wasn't fitted cor-
rectly.
The adapter and the chuck are oily
or greasy.
The clamping mechanism is dam-
aged.
Wrong adapter selected and fitted.
This warranty provides the free-of-charge repair or
replacement of defective parts only over the entire
lifespan of the tool. Parts requiring repair or replace-
ment as a result of normal wear and tear are not
covered by this warranty.
Additional claims are excluded, unless stringent
national regulations prohibit such exclusion. In
Remedy
Empty the vacuum cleaner.
Change the suction head.
Clean the suction channel.
Use a shorter chisel/accessory or
the long suction head.
Fit the TE DRS B as directed in the
operating instructions. The adapter
must be pushed onto the chuck
and into the suction unit as far as it
will go.
Use a cleaning cloth to remove any
oil or grease from the adapter or
the outer surfaces of the chuck.
Replace the clamping mechan-
ism (securing lever and clamping
band).
Select the correct adapter.
