ANTENNA:
Adjustable telescopic antenna. Always place the unit to an up-right position and pull up the
antenna for best transmission.
DETAILED OPERATION OF RECEIVER
BATTERY COMPARTMENT:
Insert 1.2V AAA rechargeable battery x 3 to RECEIVER. Alternatively, use the AC adaptor
to connect to RECEIVER.
AC ADAPTOR:
Make sure that the AC adaptor input voltage is the same as the AC outlet voltage.
AUS / (CHANNEL) A / (CHANNEL) B:
This is the main power switch of the TRANSMITTER. To avoid interference, BABY MINDER
provides two user selectable channels. Make sure both TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER
must work in the same channel. Select channel A or Channel B.
POWER / STANDBY LED (LIGHT GREEN LED):
When turning on the power switch, the GREEN LED will light. It f ashes to indicate a
standby mode (no transmission). Sleeping Baby Face is displayed on LCD.
VOLUME CONTROL:
On RECEIVER, adjust for a proper volume level by turning the "VOLUME"
button on the left side.
Red LED Bar:
When hearing some sound through the speaker from TRANSMITTER, the louder the sound
from TRANSMITTER, the more LED is lighted to indicate the sound level. This built-in LED
bar provides visual monitoring of reception strength, irrespective of the volume, e.g. when
you do not want to disturb anyone or you are vacuuming.
VOICE ACTIVATION (GREEN LED):
When RECEIVER is receiving some signal, the GREEN LED lights and the Wake
Up Baby Face is displayed in LCD. If a loud voice is received, the Crying Baby
Face is displayed in LCD
OUT OF RANGE INDICATOR (GREEN LED):
If RECEIVER is out of the desired range from TRANSMITTER or TRANSMITTER is not
switched on, Baby Face f ashes & you will hear a beeping warning.
LOW BATTERY WARNING:
If Battery Symbol in LCD f ashes and a beeping alarm is heard, the battery is low in power.
You have to recharge the battery by connecting the unit to the AC Adaptor. BABY MINDER
can be operated even during recharging. When the battery power of Transmitter is too
low, you will hear a beeping alarm from Receiver about every 5 seconds, which indicates
that you must recharge or replace the battery of Transmitter IMMEDIATELY. The batteries
can be recharged approx. 500 times that corresponds to about 1 and
years of normal

operation. Spare batteries can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
