a) Place the heating foot switch of the chilling table in a location convenient for
operation.
b) Lock the casters.
c)
Prepare the ice cream batch.
d) CAUTION! For model RCFI-02: Place the extra ingredients for the batch in the
dedicated GN bins.
e) Plug the power cord into a mains outlet.
f)
Start the appliance by setting the power switch to "I" (On) (6) (O is Off).
g) CAUTION! When the power is switched on, the drive unit of the appliance starts
running; after 30 seconds, the refrigerating system comes on.
h) Place the ready batch of ice cream and extra ingredients on the chilling table.
i)
Wait for the batch to cool down.
j)
Form a serving using the included spatula.
k) CAUTION! When the pre-cooling is on, the extra ingredients can be broken up
using the included spatula.
l)
If the batch sticks too much to the chilling table, reduce the chilling temperature
by operating the heating foot switch.
m) Press and hold the heating foot switch for approx. 2 to 5 seconds to make the
chilling table warmer. Monitor the cooling of the ice cream batch. Once the ice
cream batch is thick enough, form it into a serving and move it into a serving
container.
n) CAUTION! If you need to leave the appliance ready for making the ice cream,
switch on the pre-cooling mode (Model RCFI-02). The chilling table will be
cooled until you turn off the pre-cooling. Switch the pre-cooling on by setting
the power switch to "I" (On) and set the cooling temperature (see Section
3.3.1).
o) When done operating the appliance, set the power switch to "O" (Off). Unplug
the appliance from the mains.
p) Before cleaning the appliance, leave it to warm up to ambient temperature.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Before cleaning and when the appliance is not in use, unplug it from the mains.
b)
Only mild cleaning agents intended for surfaces in contact with food shall be
used to clean the appliance.
c)
After each cleaning, dry all components well before the appliance is used
again.
d)
Store the appliance in a dry and cool place, protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
e)
Do not spray the appliance with a stream of water and do not immerse it in
water.
f)
Ensure that water will not enter through the ventilation ports in the housing.
g)
Clean the ventilation ports with a brush and compressed air.
