When this alarm occurs, the instrument is inoperative for
measuring gases. The user must exit the hazardous area,
the instrument must be powered down, and the sensor
situation must be corrected.
2.6 Monitoring Toxic Gases
The instrument can monitor the concentration of toxic gases in ambient
air. Which toxic gases are monitored depends on the installed sensors.
The instrument displays the gas concentration in parts per million (PPM)
or mg/m
on the MEASURING page.

If an alarm activates while using the instrument, leave the
area immediately.
Remaining in the area under such circumstances can
cause serious personal injury or death.
The instrument has four gas alarms:
