6 Ergo lever
The ergo lever holds the locking lever in posi‐
tion when the trigger is released.
7 Control handle
The control handle is used to control, hold
and guide the hedge trimmer.
8 Trigger
The trigger switches the hedge trimmer on
and off together with the control bar.
9 Hand guard
The hand guard protects the hand on the loop
handle from contact with the cutting blades.
10 Cutting blades
The cutting blades cut the material to be trim‐
med.
11 Charger
The charger charges the battery.
12 LED
The LED indicates the status of the charger.
13 Mains plug
The mains plug connects the connecting
cable with a socket
14 Connecting cable
The connecting cable connects the charger to
the mains plug.
15 Battery
The battery supplies power to the hedge trim‐
mer.
16 LEDs
The LEDs indicate the state of charge of the
battery and any faults.
17 Pushbutton
The pushbutton activates the LEDs on the
battery.
18 Blade scabbard
The blade scabbard protects against contact
with the cutting blades.

Symbols
Meanings of symbols that may be on the hedge
trimmer, battery and charger:
1 LED lights up red. The battery is too
warm or too cold.
4 LEDs flash red. There is a fault in the
battery.

The LED flashes red. There is no elec‐
trical contact between the battery and
