The air filter (12) is a protective component in the air intake.
It prevents the suction of dust, dirt and elements that
impair the proper operation of the compressor. It must be
cleaned regularly. A clogged air filter reduces considerably
the production of compressed air.
1. Loosen the wing nut on the bottom of the filter and
remove the cover;
2. Remove the filtering element and clean it completely;
3. Place the filter element and fit the remaining
components in reverse order to disassemble.
The use of the air filter does not ensure the quality of
the air provided by the compressor. This air is
unsuitable for humans to breathe.
Cleaning
After each use clean all compressor's parts. Wipe the power
tool with a clean, damp cloth or blow it with low pressure
compressed air. Careful handling protects the power tool
and extends its service life.
Keep the compressor and its ventilation slots clean. Clean
ventilation slots regularly or whenever they become
clogged.
Storage
To prevent unintentional start-up, unplug the power cord,
empty the air receiver tank and remove all compressed air
tools connected to the compressor.
When not in use, store the air compressor in a dry, clean
place, free of corrosive smoke and out of children's reach.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19/EC on
electrical and electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power tools must be
collected separately and delivered to the collection sites
provided for this purpose.
Waste such as old oil, lubricant, filters and worn-out parts
can harm humans, animals and the environment and as
such must be properly disposed of or recycled.
Before changing the oil, find a suitable place to dispose of
the used oil. Do not throw it in the dustbin, dump it in water
courses or leave it on the ground.
You can get information about the disposal of the used
compressor from the legal responsible for recycling in your
town.
