Operating instructions SATAjet 3000 K spray mix
The geometry of the material nozzle [3-3] defines the spray fan pattern
width and the spraying angle. The spray fan pattern can be adjusted by
adding more compressed air at the air cap [3-2] .
■ A round fan can be set by rotating the round and flat fan control [5-1].
■ The air flow can be regulated via the air micrometer [5-2].
■ Air micrometer set lengthwise [5-2]
position III - parallel to the gun body
■ Maximum atomisation, maximum gun inner pressure (equals gun
input pressure)
■ Air micrometer set crosswise [5-2]
position I or II (crosswise to the gun body)
■ Minimum atomisation, minimum gun inner pressure (for small paint-
ing jobs, sprinkling, etc.)
Painting
When painting, only use as much material as is required for the specific
procedure.
When painting, maintain the necessary spray distance. After painting,
store or dispose of the material correctly.
■ Heed the necessary spray distance [7-2].
■ Ensure sufficient spraying air feed and material supply [7-2].
■ Release the spray gun with the trigger lock [6-1] on the trigger
guard [6-2].
■ Completely remove the trigger guard for spraying [7-1].
■ Move the spray gun as shown in [7-2].
End the spraying process
■ Secure the spray gun with the trigger lock [6-1] on the trigger
guard [6-2].
■ If the spraying process has finished or a longer spraying break is
planned, disconnect the spraying air and the material supply and heed
the instructions for care and storage (see chapter 11).
