specifications. the service life is to up to 150 hours (receiver). the service life is reduced, if the noise
transmission is more frequent.
nOte:
the battery control led (3) flashes red in the case of weak battery performance and an alarm tone sounds.
(can be turned off by means of the alarM switch (7) in the battery compartment). the battery control led
does not light up as long as the battery performance is sufficient for safe operation.
5. accuMulatOrs fOr transMitter and receiver
commercial nc or niMH accumulators, size aa, can also be used. the service life depends on the used
accumulator capacity. these accumulators are not recharged during mains power supply for safety reasons,
in order to avoid accidental recharging of non-rechargeable alkali batteries.
5.1 receiver – OperatiOn with Battery pack
the rechargeable battery can also be used in the receiver. this accumulator pack is connected to the plug-in
connection (8) in the battery compartment (see fig. a). the accumulator pack is automatically recharged
during mains power supply. the load indicator (3) then constantly lights up green – even if the receiver
is switched off!
nOte:
the battery control led (3) flashes red in the case of weak battery performance. the battery pack is
recharged by connecting the receiver to the accompanying mains adapter. the led (3) switches from
flashing red to constant green and thereby displays the correct recharging procedure.
6. switch the transMitter On and set the MicrOphOne sensitivity
push the sliding switch (4) from »OFF« into the middle position »Min«. the »green« operating indicator
is now switched on. if the transmitter is activated by a noise, the »red« transmitter indicator lights (9) up
for the duration of the transmission. the microphone sensitivity is increased when the switch (4) is in the
»MaX« position. Faint noises are now transmitted, too.
7. switching receiver On and adjusting vOluMe
Move the slide switch (1) from OFF - into the central position Min. the status indicator pOwer "green" is
now switched on. the volume (VOluMe) increases, if the switch (1) is in the position MaX.
7.1. receiver - range check
the mobile radio Babysitter MOdel Berlin is equipped with a range and/or reception monitor, which
informs you about radio communication disturbances. the display alarM red (6) flashes and a warning
tone sounds additionally, if the reception is disturbed (disconnectible 7). there is no or a from time to time
disturbed radio link in this case. the warning tone can be switched off by means of the alarM switch (7)
in the battery compartment.
8. general infOrMatiOn
