2 General safety rules

2.1 General

•
This equipment can be used in Overvoltage Category III
installations and Pollution Degree 2 environments.
•
When using some of the following accessories use only the
specified ones to ensure safety:
One pair test leads
Review the state of the test ends before its use
•
Observe all specified ratings of measurement.
•
Remember that voltages higher than 70 V DC or 33 V AC rms are
dangereus.
•
Use this instrument under the specified environmental conditions.
•
The user is only authorised to:
Battery replacement
Fuses
On the Maintenance section proper instructions are given.
Any other change on the equipment should be carried out by qualified
personnel.
•
Follow the cleaning conditions described in the Maintenance
paragraph.
