Examination of the shock sensor
The shock sensor is factory pre-set. The sensitivity is adjusted correctly
when the MSK-150 triggers off by stronger impact against the car body
e. g. closing the trunk. Slight hits with the hand against the window or
the roof, however, should not trigger off any alert.
In case that no alert is triggered off even through stronger impacts
against the body, please turn the sensitivity to a maximum by means of
the adjustment button of the MSK-150 and then repeat the test. The
regulating screw is on the back side of the MSK-150 below the rubber
cover. If an alert is triggered off by impacts against the windows, the
sensitivity has to be reduced. For this, please turn the regulating screw
to the minimum direction. If the sensor is adjusted too sensitively, an
alert can already be triggered off when other cars are passing by.
Therefore, the sensitivety should be adjusted carefully and not too high.
Examination of the voltage control
Arm the alarm system and wait 2 minutes after the status LED blinks
continuously. Now slowly open the driver's door until the interior light
turns on. After that the MSK-150 triggers off the alert.
Remark! In factory settings the voltage control is on OFF
(see software switches, page 41).
Examination of the bonnet contact switch
Arm the alarm system. Open the bonnet. If the contact switch is
adjusted correctly the alert should be triggered off.
Examination of the ignition
Arm the alarm system. Turn the ignition on. If the orange cable
isconnected correctly the alert is triggered.
