Turning the Machine Off
Release the switch (1). The rundown time of the spindle is shortened by
a brake once the machine is off.
When putting the machine aside, secure the switch by pushing the
safety (2) to the right.
Before transporting, storing or doing any work on the pow-
er tool (e.g. maintenance, change of tools), remove the ac-
cumulator. Otherwise, accidentally pressing the switch
could cause injury.
If the saw blade gets jammed, immediately turn off the power tool.

Tips for Use

Risk of injury. Always secure the workpiece before cutting
to prevent movement!
Use sharp saw blades designed for the given material. Adjust the stroke
rate and pendulum action to suit the material. Before cutting metal,
apply a suitable lubricant to the area you intend to cut to prevent over-
heating of the saw blade.
Make sure to feed the saw blade into the cut evenly.
Once you have turned the saw off, do not try to brake the saw blade (6)
by turning the saw sideways!
Before transporting, storing or doing any work on the pow-
er tool (e.g. maintenance, change of tools), remove the ac-
cumulator. Otherwise, accidentally pressing the switch
could cause injury.

Electronic Safeguards

The machine is fitted with circuitry designed to prevent serious damage
to the machine. If the electronics detect any of the faults/defects below,
the machine stops immediately. Remove the fault/defect by proceeding
in accordance with the table.
Overview of safety features and methods for returning the machine to operation:
Type of safety feature
Low accumulator voltage
(indicated on the accumulator)
Machine overload (machine was
switched off due to recoil or
excessive load)
Overheating (critical temperature
of the motor, the electronics or
the accumulator was reached)

Grinding and Cutting Discs

Check the maximum permitted peripheral speed or revolutions on the
disc's label. The values must not be lower than those listed in the techni-
cal parameters included in this manual.
Only use discs with a permitted peripheral speed of 80 m/s and higher.
To test new discs, let them run at no load for approx. 1 minute. Do not
use unbalanced or vibrating discs.
Protect discs from impact, shocks and lubricating grease.
If your grinding or cutting discs are worn, it is recommended to replace
them with new ones. This will ensure that the optimal grinding or cut-
ting output (optimal peripheral speed) of the machine is maintained.

Checking Accumulator Status

The machine is fitted with an accumulator status control panel (B3).
Press the control button (B4) on the accumulator status panel (B3). An
accumulator status indicator  (B5) will light up based on the state of
charge (capacity) of the accumulator.

Maintenance and Service

Remove the accumulator before transport, storage or be-
fore doing any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
change of tools). Risk of injury in the event of accidentally
pressing the switch.
Always keep the power tool and its vents (14) clean. Clean it reg-
ularly, particularly during work that generates a  large amount
of dust. After extensive use, let the power tool run at no load for
a while to let it cool down.
Warning regarding optimal handling of the accumulator. Protect the
accumulator from humidity and water. Only store the accumulator at
temperatures between -20 °C and +50 °C. For instance, you should not
store the accumulator in a  car in the summer. Occasionally clean the
accumulator vents with a soft, clean, dry brush. A significantly reduced
runtime after recharging indicates that the accumulator is worn down
and needs replacing.
Attention! With regard to the principles of protection
against injury by electric current and the protection rating
of the device, all maintenance and service work that re-
quires the removal of the machine's casing must be done only by
an authorised service centre!
You can find an up-to-date list of authorised service centres on our web-
site at www.narex.cz in the "Service Points" section.

Accessories

The accessories recommended for use with this device are available
commercially in the shops with hand el. tools.

Storage

Packed appliance may be stored in dry, unheated storage place with
temperature not lower than -5 °C.
Unpacked appliance should be stored only in dry storage place with
temperature not lower than +5 °C with exclusion of all sudden temper-
ature changes.

Environmental protection

Power tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environ-
mental-friendly recy.
Only for EU countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and
electronic equipment and its incorporation into national law, power
tools that are no longer suitable for must be separately collected and
sent for recovery in an environmental-friendly manner.

Warranty

Our equipment is under warranty for at least 12 months with regard to
material or production faults in accordance with national legislation.
In the EU countries, the warranty period for exclusively private use is
24 months (an invoice or delivery note is required as proof of purchase).
Damage resulting from, in particular, normal wear and tear, overloading,
improper handling, or caused by the user or other damage caused by
not following the operating instructions, or any fault acknowledged at
the time of purchase, is not covered by the warranty.
Complaints will only be acknowledged if the equipment has not been
dismantled before being sent back to the suppliers or to an authorised
NAREX customer support workshop. Store the operating instructions,
safety notes, spare parts list and proof of purchase in a  safe place. In
addition, the manufacturer's current warranty conditions apply.
