8 Operation
8.1 STARTING UP
- Connect the equipment to the power supply
- Turn on the main switch (9)
For some seconds the display shows «888» and then «-A-»
Before to continue keep in mind that if the led (2) or the led (3)
blinks, it means that the hotplate is heating. If is is the case, stop
the process pressing the key (7) Start/Stop unless that is not possible
modify the set temperature or time.

- The display shows the actual temperature of the plate if the led (2)
lights or «000» if the led (3) lights.
8.1.1 SETTING A TEMPERATURE
After doing that is explained in the section 8.1:

8.1.2 SETTING A CYCLE TIME
After doing that is explained in the section 8.1:
- With the key (6) select led (3) lit.
- Press the key (4) and, keeping it pressed, with the
8.2 SETTING AN OFFSET TEMPERATURE
When a calibration is made it is possible set an offset temperature:
- Press the keys (5) and (6) simultaneously for at least 5 seconds.
- The display (1) will show the offset temperature (entre -9 i +9 ºC)
- While the display shows the offset temperature, this value can be
modified using the keys (5) and (6).
- If any modification is done for 5 seconds, the micro processor save
the last offset value shown on the display and get out by it self of
the adjust menu.
8.3 TEMPERATURE SWITCH
The Plactronic hotplates have an electronic temperature switch which
avoid that, in case of main temperature regulator failure, the plate
reach dangerous temperatures. When the temperature switch trigers
the red pilot lamp (8) lights up and cuts the heater. If the problem
persists call the technical assistance.
