appear to be full.
• Remove the fruit from the juicing cone and place the lid on the juicer. Press down on the
cover to activate the 'fast spin' . This will release any juice remaining in the sieve.
• Once the juice stops flowing, release the lid. The 'fast spin' function will stop.
• Turn the drip spout to the closed position and remove the glass or container from under
the spout.
• Remove the lid and the juicing cone and empty the pulp from the sieve.
• Rinse the juicing cone and repeat the above steps as often as required until you have the
desired amount of juice.
• Note: your juice extractor has a resettable thermal protection device. With intense
use, the appliance will stop to prevent it from overheating. In this case, to restart the
applicance, unplug it from the electrical socket and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes.
Then restart your juice extractor in the usual way.
c. Tips for using the juicer
• Pressing the fruit firmly against the juicing cone will extract more juice.
• Fresh fruit with firm flesh will yield more juice.
• Always wash the fruit before handling.
• Fruit at room temperature will yield more juice than refrigerated fruit.
• Choose fruit with smooth, shiny and brightly coloured skin. The best fruit is firm, plump
and heavy for its size.
• Don't be afraid to use fruit whose skin has brown flecks. These flecks don't affect the
flavour of the juice.
• Once pressed, the juice quickly loses its vitamin content. We recommend juicing just
before serving.
5. CLEANING AND STORAGE
• The unit may be left on the kitchen counter.
• Always unplug the unit when not using it and before cleaning it. Clean the lid, juicing
cone and container before the first use and after every use. Use warm, soapy water to
clean, then rinse and dry thoroughly. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
• Do not try to dismantle the motor base.
• To clean the motor base, use a damp cloth to remove any residue and then dry. Never
immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid and never place in the dishwasher.
• Place the accessories back on the unit before storing.
