Batteries charge best at room temperature.
The display shows the battery charging icon momentarily. When charging is in progress, the red LED
lights up. When charging is complete, the green LED illuminates until you detach the charger.

Attaching and Removing the Antenna

CAUTION: If you must replace the antenna, ensure that you use TLK 100i antennas only.
Neglecting this action damages your radio. See
recommended antennas.
Prerequisites: Turn off your radio.
Procedure:
To attach the antenna, set the antenna in the receptacle and turn clockwise.
To remove the antenna, turn the antenna counterclockwise.

Turning the Radio On or Off

Procedure:
To turn on your radio, press and hold the Power/Info button.
NOTE: To turn on your radio when your radio is charging, press and hold the Power/Info
button.
The green LED illuminates and the display shows a power-on animation.
To turn off your radio, press and hold the Power/Info button.

Adjusting the Volume

Procedure:
To increase the volume level, press the Volume Up button.
To decrease the volume level, press the Volume Down button.

Activating the Preconfigured Wi-Fi Access Point (PWAP)

This feature provides a temporary Wi-Fi connection for the radio to download the configurations from
the portal. Instead of the manual configuration through the Maintenance Mode Web Server, you can
use the preconfigured Wi-Fi access point for initial Wi-Fi connection.
