it's recommended to wait at least 30 seconds before powering back on.
Otherwise, the camera life will be affected.
1. Regardless of the reason, DJI will not be responsible for any failure of an image
or video to be recorded, having been recorded in a way that is not machine
readable, or the aircraft powering off during recording.
2. DO NOT touch the surface of the lens with your hand. Be careful to avoid
scratching the surface of the lens with sharp objects. Otherwise, the quality of
images may be affected.
3. Clean the surface of the camera lens with a soft, dry, clean cloth. DO NOT use
alkaline detergents.
Gimbal
1. Precision elements in the gimbal may be damaged by a collision or impact,
which may cause the gimbal to function abnormally. Power off and rotate the
gimbal pitch axis to +90° to lock the gimbal after each operation to protect the
gimbal.
2. DO NOT apply external force to the gimbal after the gimbal is powered on.
3. DO NOT add any extra payload to the gimbal as this may cause the gimbal to
function abnormally or even lead to permanent motor damage.
4. The gimbal, gimbal connector and gimbal dampers are delicate. Keep
the gimbal dampers away from sharp objects to avoid puncturing. It is
recommended to use the carrying case whenever transporting the aircraft.
Contact DJI Support or a DJI authorized dealer to replace the damaged gimbal
damper or for further assistance if necessary.
Laser Module
Observe the following rules to avoid collision, serious injury, and property
damage:
1. DO NOT disassemble the laser module. Otherwise, you may be injured by
the laser.
2. DO NOT look directly at the optical window of the laser module through a
magnifying glass, binoculars, or other optical equipment. Otherwise, your
eyes may be injured by the laser.
Compass
Observe the following rules to avoid collision, serious injury, and property damage:
1. Land immediately if obvious drifting occurs during the flight. Follow the
prompts in DJI Pilot 2 or contact DJI Support to solve the issue.
2. DO NOT fly in an environment with strong electromagnetic interference
or numerous obstacles such as high-voltage transmission stations in
mountainous areas.
3. Perform calibration before takeoff if prompted to do so in DJI Pilot 2 and take
off in an environment without electromagnetic interference. DO NOT calibrate
the compass where there is magnetic interference such as interference by
magnetite, parking structures, or steel reinforcements underground. DO NOT
carry ferromagnetic materials such as cellular phones during calibration.
Remote Controller
1. There will be an alert if the remote controller is not used for five minutes while it
is powered on but the touchscreen is off and it is not connected to the aircraft.
6
It will automatically power off after a further 30 seconds. Move the control
sticks or perform any other remote controller action to cancel the alert.
2. Make sure the antennas of the remote controller are unfolded and adjusted to
the proper position for optimal transmission. *
3. DO NOT push the antennas beyond their limit. Otherwise, they may be
damaged. Contact DJI Support to repair the remote controller if damaged. A
damaged antenna will greatly decrease performance.
4. Link the remote controller and the aircraft every time the aircraft is changed.
5. Make sure to power off the aircraft before the remote controller.
6. Fully discharge and charge the remote controller every three months. The
battery depletes when stored for an extended period.
7. Charge the remote controller immediately if the power level reaches 0%.
Otherwise, the remote controller may be damaged due to being over
discharged for an extended period. Discharge or charge the remote controller
to between 40% and 60% if stored for an extended period.
8. DO NOT cover the air vent or the air intake on the remote controller. Otherwise,
the performance of the remote controller may be affected due to overheating.
9. Contact DJI or a DJI authorized dealer to replace the components of the
remote controller if damaged. DO NOT disassemble the remote controller
without the assistance of a DJI authorized dealer.
10. For optimal communication and positioning performance, DO NOT block or
cover the remote controller internal RC antennas and internal GNSS antenna. *
* Refer to the M30/M30T Quick Start Guide for more information about the position
of the internal antennas and the lifted external antennas.
DJI Pilot 2 App
1. Read all safety prompts, warning messages, and disclaimers carefully. Be
familiar with local regulations. You are solely responsible for being aware of all
relevant regulations and flying in a way that is compliant.
a. Read and understand the warning messages before resetting the home
point.
b. Read and understand the warning messages and disclaimer before setting
the altitude beyond the default limit.
c. Read and understand the warning messages and disclaimer before
switching flight modes.
d. Understand that the failsafe is how the aircraft will perform when
disconnected from the remote controller and the failsafe cannot be
cancelled before reconnecting to the remote controller. The default failsafe
setting is Return to Home (RTH).
2. Land the aircraft immediately at a safe location if prompted to do so in DJI
Pilot 2.
3. DO NOT fly the aircraft when the battery level is critically low. Otherwise, the
aircraft may be forced to land, affecting flight safety.
4. Examine and check all warning messages on the pre-flight checklist displayed
in DJI Pilot 2 prior to each flight.
5. Use DJI Assistant 2 to practice your flight skills if you have never operated
the aircraft or if you DO NOT have sufficient experience to be comfortable
operating the aircraft.
6. Before each flight, make sure the remote controller sound is enabled in DJI
Pilot 2 and adjust the volume so that prompts and warnings can be heard
clearly during flight.
7. The use of the app is subject to DJI Pilot 2 Terms of Use and DJI Privacy
Policy. Read them carefully in the app.
