DESCRIPTION
Figure 1 lists the 3M™ Protecta®
available with various combinations of the following features. See Table 1 for lanyard and connector specifications.
Energy Absorbing Lanyards are web or rope tethers with an integral Energy Absorber and Connectors on each end. The
Energy Absorber end of the Lanyard connects to the designated attachment element on a Full Body Harness. Connector
options on the Leg End of the Lanyard connect to an anchorage connector; tie back around a beam, pipe, or similar
structure; or travel securely along a lifeline (horizontal or vertical). Twin Leg Lanyard models provide 100% tie-off while
moving from point to point.
