RECHARGE INSTRUCTIONS
Firstly check that electric power source corresponds to adaptor voltage requirement. The appliance
can be recharged by connecting the adaptor directly to the same. Before using for the first time,
leave the device to charge for at least 12 hours. To extend battery life it is advisable to recharge
it when completely flat and not to recharge for longer than 48 consecutive hours. Always unplug
appliance once battery is fully charged. The charge indicator light does not switch off or change
colour when appliance is fully charged. To operate the appliance when plugged in: switch hair clipper
off, plug in and allow a few seconds before switching on.
ADJUSTING CUT LEVEL
Cut level may be adjusted selecting one of the 2 trimming
guides provided.
Attaching/changing the combs:
short comb for approx. 4-16 mm cutting height
long comb for approx. 19-31 mm cutting height
WARNING: insert or remove a trimming guide comb only
if appliance is off.
Select and insert guide comb according to desired cut level.
Make sure that both attachment grooves on the comb engage the
lateral attachment tabs (4); a click is heard when they engage properly.
For increased cutting height push the sliding button (2) upwards,
pressing at the same time on the opening button (3); for a shorter
cutting height, slide the button downwards
Thinning hair out:
To thin hair out, move the hair shaper button (5) towards the left to the desired height; this accesses
the hair thinning device integrated in the cutting head. This function enables you to reduce hair
volume, obtaining a modern, shaggy look without altering the length of the hair.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Always switch off and unplug appliance before cleaning it. Never immerse the appliance in water.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly moist soft cloth. Never use solvents or abrasive
products. Remove the trimming guide comb using the provided brush after use, clear blades from
body hair and hair. To ensure best operation and extend appliance life it is advisable to frequently
clean and lubricate the hair clipper head. Easy- to-clean removable hair clipper blades. Gently press
blades forward to remove them from appliance. Use the provided brush to clear from any hair,
reassemble blades and lubricate with 2/3 drops lubricating oil. Switch on appliance and operate for
a few seconds to allow correct head lubrication.
