5. Assemble the Door Framework
NOTE: The seal may be deformed from packaging. Immerse in warm water until its shape returns.
Cut the seal 1/4" (6 mm) longer than the bridge member.
With the inside area of the framework facing down and the bridge members facing each other, lay
the framework on an open work surface.
Secure the flange and the strike post to the bridge members with eight #8 x 1" pilot point screws.
6. Determine the Direction of the Door Swing
Determine whether the door will pivot to the right or left.
Make sure the path of the shower door will not be obstructed as it swings open.
NOTE: The illustrations and instructions in this guide are for right pivot installations. Left pivot
installations will be opposite of what is illustrated and described.
