Undo the tank by screwing in an anticlockwise
■
direction.
Fill product into the tank (maximum 1 litre)
■
Screw the tank in a clockwise direction until tight.
■
Use of the device
Note
Fill the bottle with no more than one
litre.
Position the detachable tank and tighten in a
■
clockwise direction (fig. 3 and 4/III).
Set the relevant product (see Section Conven-
■
tional or water-based product).
Point the device at the surface to be sprayed
■
from a distance of 10 to 30 cm.
Press the control lever [4].
■
3 The device sprays.
After use, disconnect the device from the
■
compressed air supply and clean (see section
Maintenance / Care).
Work setting of the spray nozzle
(fig. V)
Setting the product quantity
Turn the nozzle regulator [3]:
■
• Clockwise: Product quantity reduces.
• Anticlockwise: Product quantity increases.
Note
Do not exceed the pre-setting. Other-
wise there is a risk that the regulator
will eject forcefully due to the spring
force.
Adjusting product atomisation
Turn air regulator [2]:
■
— Clockwise: The air passage reduces and atomis-
ation reduces (becomes coarser).
— Anticlockwise: The air passage increases and
atomisation increases (becomes finer).
Attention!
Risk of property damage
The pressure can also cause the product to
■
flow out and cause the device to stick strongly
together.
¾ Never completely shut the air regulator [2]
during use.
¾ Never completely unscrew the air regulator [2].
Adjusting the pressure of the incom-
ing air
Turn the pressure reducer [WB]:
■
• Clockwise: Air flow reduces until it is completely
stopped.
• Anticlockwise: Airflow increases (higher con-
sumption).
Combined setting
Combined setting of the nozzle regulator [3] and
the air regulator [2] allows a smooth or coarse
surface to be achieved as desired; and thus a finish
matching the original finish of the part being treated
can be achieved.
Water-based products
Turn the nozzle regulator [3] clockwise to a
■
maximum 10–12 mm. The nozzle needle is fully
opened and consequently maximum product
flow from the tank is achieved.
Smooth surface setting
Completely open the air vent regulator [WB]
■
(turn clockwise). During use air flows from the
tank (reducing the pressure available in the tank)
and reduces the product quantity.
If spraying is not taking place, slowly turn the
■
air vent regulator [WB] anticlockwise until the
desired product quantity is achieved.
Fully open air regulator [2].
■
Set atomisation using air regulator [2].
■
Rough surface setting
Slightly close air vent regulator [WB] (anti-
■
clockwise). As a result, the pressure in the tank
increases and with it the product quantity.
Slightly close air regulator [2] dependent on the
■
surface.
Set atomisation using air regulator [2].
