N N o o t t e e - - If P P r r o o C C u u i i t t y y is connected to AC power, the support surface will automatically deflate. If the bed is not connected
to AC power, the support surface will not automatically deflate. The support surface will remain in the prior therapy
setting until the CPR strap is pulled, go to step 2.
2. A message will appear on the ProCuity bed graphical user interface (Figure 10). Pull the strap on the support surface to
deflate faster.
3. Raise or lower the P P r r o o C C u u i i t t y y foot siderail to the full up or full down position.
4. Pull one of the red CPR support surface straps straight out to manually deflate the surface. The CPR straps are located
on the left and right side of the foot end of the support surface. The CPR strap pulls outward about one inch and locks in
place to release any air that remains in the mattress (Figure 11).
