Installation (wall mounting)
Note: Before installation, make sure that the floor and wall are level.
1. Attach a mounting bracket to the back of each edge of the panelling (see
illustration below) using the 3 x 12 mm screws provided. Pre-drill the holes
with a 2 mm diameter drill bit to prevent the wood from splintering. Repeat
this process for the other side of the unit so that you can attach one bracket
on the left and one on the right side of the unit.
2. Carefully lean the unit against the wall and mark the bracket holes on both
sides.
Note: Make sure that there are no cables or wires in the wall you want to drill
into. If you are unsure about this, consult a professional.
3. Drill an approx. 35 mm hole with a diameter of 6 mm into the wall at the two
marked points.
4. Insert the dowels into the holes.
Note: If you mount the unit on plasterboard with a cavity behind it, suitable
wall fixings (not included) are required. If in doubt, consult a suitably qualified
tradesperson.
5. Route the mains cable so that it exits from the same side as the power socket.
To avoid damage, make sure that the unit is not standing on the mains cable.
6. Secure the unit with 4 x 30 mm screws (included).
