Dustex II
Never pull the mains plug out of the
socket by pulling at the cable; only pull
out holding the plug.
Remove the mains plug from the socket
when not in use, during work breaks, or
during any work to be done on the
machine itself.
Do not damage the connection cable, e. g.
by driving over it, pulling or squeezing it.
Danger to health: The vacuum cleaner
must not be used for vacuuming sub-
stances that are hazardous to health, e. g.
asbestos.
Danger of fire or explosion: The vacuum
cleaner must not be used for vacuuming
substances that are hot, inflammable or
explosive, e. g. petrol, oil, solvents, alco-
hol. The vacuum cleaner must not be used
in rooms where there is risk of explosion.
Before using the socket for the power
tools, switch off the vacuum cleaner first.
Only insert the power tool plug in the
power tool socket when the power tool is
switched-off.
Please observe the operating instructions
and safety instructions for the respective
power tool used.
Before vacuuming fluids, the paper dust
bag and filter cartridge must be taken out
and the float checked for proper function-
ing. If foam develops, stop work immedi-
ately and empty the container.
Do not allow any water to splash on the
vacuum top – danger of a short circuit.
Protect the vacuum cleaner from the rain.
Do not rivet or screw any name-plates or
signs onto the vacuum cleaner. The pro-
tective insulation can thereby be rendered
ineffective. Adhesive labels are recom-
mended.
Only use an undamaged plug and cable.
!
Damage to property/material
Mains voltage must correspond with
the voltage specifications on the vacuum
cleaner.
Assembly.
!
Risk of injury
by switching ON unintentionally.
Before assembling pull out the mains plug.
Some of the accessories are supplied lying
in the container and have to be taken out
before using for the first time.
Assembling the cart (6).
Assemble by inserting the castors in the
underside of the container.
Insert the paper dust bag (5).
The paper dust bag may only be used for
dry vacuuming.
Using the paper dust bag keeps the filter
cartridge clean over a longer period, and
increases the vacuuming performance.
The vacuumed dust can be disposed of
more easily.
Open the latches (7) on both sides and
remove the top of the vacuum cleaner.
Hold the new paper dust bag (5) by the
cardboard flap and push it downwards
first and then upwards over the locking
notch.
Make sure that the cardboard flap and
the paper dust bag are lying completely
flush against the inside wall of the con-
tainer.
Place the top of the vacuum cleaner on
again and close the latches (7).
Removing the paper dust bag is done in
the reverse sequence.
To avoid creating any dirt when changing
the full paper dust bag, close it by shutting
the lid.
