4.2
Communication interfaces

4.2.1
Bluetooth
interface
After the start sequence, the Bluetooth
activated.
If no connection is established, the gas detector disables the interface after 10
minutes (factory setting).
If the connection is to be secured with a pairing PIN, an additional pairing can
be carried out and an individual pairing PIN assigned. The factory setting is the
connection without PIN.
For safety-related applications, an individual pairing PIN must be assigned.

Activating the Bluetooth

● Activate the Bluetooth
interface with a magnetic pen or via the

ISA100 Wireless
network:
● Magnetic pen: Tap the marking (Fig. A 12).

● ISA100 Wireless
: Activate using PolySoft.
✓ The blue LED flashes.

Establish Bluetooth
Prerequisite:

interface on the device and on the Windows terminal device is
activated.
● Connect via PolySoft.
Entering a PIN is not necessary.
✓ After successful connection, the blue LED lights up continuously.
Gas detector and Windowsterminal device with PolySoft are connected.
