USE
1. Place the vehicle on a level and firm surface. Apply the handbrake and secure the wheels that
remain on the ground with wheel chocks. Set the selector lever on automatic transmissions to
position "P".
2. Adjust the height of the jack stands. Make sure that both jack stands have the same height.
3. Remove the safety pin and hold the locking handle up while you raise the saddle to the desired
height.
4. Press the locking handle down so that the locking pawl is locked in the ratchet bar. Make sure
that the locking pawl engages completely into the tooth.
5. Reinstall the safety pin.
6. Place the jack stands under the vehicle. Note the contact points specified by the vehicle
manufacturer, refer to the operating instructions of the vehicle.
7. Carefully lower the vehicle until the contact points of the vehicle are completely on the saddle of
the jack stands.
MAINTENANCE, CLEANING & REPAIR
•
The jack stands do not require any maintenance work.
•
Clean the jack stands as required.
•
To avoid corrosion, wipe the jack stands with an oily cloth.
•
When not in use, keep the jack stands dry.
•
Make sure that the stickers and safety labels attached by the manufacturer are legible.
•
Repairs to the jack stands may only be carried out by an authorized repair workshop. Do not
carry out any repairs on the jack stands.
