9 Mounting an Abrasive
Wheel
Only fit or replace when the machine is switched
off – retaining latch moved to ƒ, battery
removed.
9.1 Removing an abrasive wheel

► Press and hold the spindle locking mecha‐
nism (1)
► Turn the shaft with the combination wrench
until the shaft is blocked

► Use the combination wrench to loosen the
hexagon head screw (2)
► Release the spindle locking mechanism and
unscrew the hexagon head screw (2)
► Remove the front thrust washer (3) from the
shaft together with the abrasive wheel (4)
9.2 Fitting an abrasive wheel
► Fit the new abrasive wheel (4)
