ALLGEMEINE INFORNMATION
Dieser Kolbenring-Werkzeugsatz dient der Reinigung von Kolbenringnuten, der Montage von
Kolbenringen auf Kolben und zum Vorspannen der Kolbenringe bei der Montage der Kolben.
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS

Be careful when installing piston rings. Excessive stretching can cause fracture of the piston rings.

Observe the installation position of the piston rings. An incorrectly assembled piston ring can lead
to reduced engine power, increased wear, excessive oil consumption and engine damage.

Please note the correct installation position of the piston. Notes of the vehicle manufacturer must
be observed.

Lubricate the cylinder face and pistons before assembly with engine oil.

Do only use a plastic hammer or hammer handle when mounting the piston. Knocking carefully
with the hammer handle on the piston crown after tensioning of the piston rings.

Please note that the piston rings are completely pressed and not above the piston.

Piston rings on 2- stroke engines are secured against rotation by a pin in the piston ring groove.
Make sure that the piston ring is securely in the correct position.
