Starting the Machine
Inserting and Removing the Accumulator
Slide the accumulator (1) all the way into the shaft on the back of the
machine's handle. Pull on the accumulator to make sure it is fitted prop-
erly.
To remove the accumulator (1) from the machine, push on both accu-
mulator clamps (2) and pull the accumulator out.
Turning On/Off
Push the switch safety lever (4) back to unlock the switch (3). Push the
switch at the same time (3) to start the machine.
Releasing the switch stops the machine.
Setting Operating Mode
Operating mode (spindle speed) can only be selected if any of the LEDs
on the operating mode selection panel (16) are lit up. If none of the
LEDs on the operating mode selection panel (16) are lit up, first, press
and release the switch button (3), and then select your operating mode
(spindle speed) of choice by repeatedly pressing the operating mode
selection button (16a) on the operating mode selection panel. It is rec-
ommended to switch speeds only when the machine is idle. Operating
mode options and overview of LED indication on the operating mode
selection panel (16) is described below:
Operating mode 1
Right green LED lit.
No-load speed: 4 000 rpm.
Operating mode 2
Middle green LED lit.
No-load speed: 6 000 rpm.
Operating mode 3
Left green LED lit.
No-load speed: 9 000 rpm.
Note:
The operating mode LED indicator (16b) will automatically shut off
about 1 minute after work is finished.
Electronic Safeguards
The machine is fitted with circuitry designed to prevent serious dam-
age to the machine and which allows a selection of three spindle speed
settings. If the electronics detect any of the faults/defects below, the
machine stops immediately.
Proceed in accordance with the table to remove the fault/defect.

Grinding and Cutting Discs
Check the maximum permitted peripheral speed or revolutions on the
disc's label. The values must not be lower than those listed in the techni-
cal parameters included in this manual.
Only use discs with a permitted peripheral speed of 80 m/s and higher.
To test new discs, let them run at no load for approx. 1 minute. Do not
use unbalanced or vibrating discs.
Protect discs from impact, shocks and lubricating grease.
If your grinding or cutting discs are worn, it is recommended to replace
them with new ones. This will ensure that the optimal grinding or cut-
ting output (optimal peripheral speed) of the machine is maintained.
Checking Accumulator Status
The machine is fitted with an accumulator status control panel (17).
Press the control button (17a) on the accumulator status panel (17). An
accumulator status indicator (17b) will light up based on the state of
charge (capacity) of the accumulator.

Maintenance and Service
Remove the accumulator before transport, storage or be-
fore doing any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
change of tools). Risk of injury in the event of accidentally
pressing the switch.
Always keep the power tool and its vents (22) clean. Clean it reg-
ularly, particularly during work that generates a large amount
of dust. After extensive use, let the power tool run at no load for
a while to let it cool down.
Warning regarding optimal handling of the accumulator. Protect the
accumulator from humidity and water. Only store the accumulator at
temperatures between -20 °C and +50 °C. For instance, you should not
store the accumulator in a car in the summer. Occasionally clean the
accumulator vents with a soft, clean, dry brush. A significantly reduced
runtime after recharging indicates that the accumulator is worn down
and needs replacing.
Attention! With regard to the principles of protection
against injury by electric current and the protection rating
of the device, all maintenance and service work that re-
quires the removal of the machine's casing must be done only by
an authorised service centre!
You can find an up-to-date list of authorised service centres on our web-
site at www.narex.cz in the "Service Points" section.
Accessories
The accessories recommended for use with this device are available
commercially in the shops with hand el. tools.
Storage
Packed appliance may be stored in dry, unheated storage place with
temperature not lower than -5 °C.
Unpacked appliance should be stored only in dry storage place with
temperature not lower than +5 °C with exclusion of all sudden temper-
ature changes.
Environmental protection
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environ-
mental-friendly recy.
Only for EU countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and
electronic equipment and its incorporation into national law, power
tools that are no longer suitable for must be separately collected and
sent for recovery in an environmental-friendly manner.
