The electric fryer does not require special maintenance, but the following precautions should be
taken:
1.- Do not leave the appliance running unsupervised; the oil will decrease and heating the
resistor and sensor without oil may render them inoperative for future uses.
2.- Oil may spontaneously catch fire if the temperature surpasses 300ºC, so you should never
leave it running at maximum temperature.
3.- When using more than one fryer, make sure that there is enough space between them to
circulate hot air, since they may deform due to the heat.
4.- Only use the original baskets; forcing the basket into the oil container may create a risk upon
removing it when finished.
5.- If you do not use the fryer for long periods of time, we recommend applying a thin layer of oil
over the complete surface, even on the resistor and sensor.
6.- Do not use margarine, butter or lard. They are not suitable for frying since they emit smoke
at low temperatures.
