9 Connecting the Water Supply

► If you want to insert the fan-jet nozzle, position the
nozzle (1) so that the nose (2) is aligned with the recess
in the spray lance (3).
► Push the high-pressure nozzle (1) as far as it will go into
the coupling (4).
► Once attached, pull on the high-pressure nozzle to
confirm that it is seated securely.
► If the nozzle is difficult to insert, apply a food-safe fitting
grease to the sealing surface on the spray lance.

Removing the Spray Nozzle

WARNING
To reduce the risk of severe injury from unintended
spraying, switch off the pressure washer, relieve system
pressure and lock the spray gun trigger before attempting to
adjust or change a spray nozzle or other accessory.
To remove the spray nozzle:
► Switch off the pressure washer, @ 11.2.
► Pull the spray gun trigger to relieve pressure.
► Lock the spray gun trigger.

► Press down and hold the locking lever (1).
► Pull out the nozzle (2).
9 Connecting the Water Supply
9.1
Make sure the pressure washer is switched off and
disconnected from the power supply before connecting to or
disconnecting from the mains water supply.
Connecting the Water Supply
The water supply must meet the following requirements:
– Minimum length of water hose: 30 ft. (10 m)
– Maximum water inlet pressure: 145 psi (1 MPa / 10 bar)
To connect the pressure washer to the mains water supply:
► Switch off the pressure washer, @ 11.2.
► Disconnect the pressure washer from the power supply.
► Remove all sand and debris from the connections and
couplings.
► Connect the water hose to the water supply.
► Fully open the tap to flush any sand or dirt from the hose.
