Switching hotplates off
Switching the hob off
Locking the control unit
of the hotplates.
• Set the power level 1-9 by touching the slider (E). At the first touch, the level is set
according to the part of the slider that you touch.
By sliding along the slider, the power level setting is changed. By sliding to the right,
the level increasing, while sliding to the left decreases the level. When you move
your finger away from the slider, the cooking field starts to operate at the level set.
If a specific point of slide control is pressed for at least 3 seconds, the automatic
cooking is activated (see Automatic fast heating).
Changing hotplate power settings
• By touching or sliding along the slide sensor (E) you change power setting.
• When you remove the finger from the slide sensor, the hotplate starts to operate
at selected power.
This function allows keeping warm already cooked food .
The selected cooking zone works at low power.
Activating Keep Warm (42°C):
Press the key (F). The led above it starts blinking.
Within 5 seconds press the cursor of the selected cooking zone.
The symbol "u" is shown at the cooking zone's display.
Activating Keep Warm (74°C):
Press the key (G). The led above it starts blinking..
Within 5 seconds press the cursor of the selected cooking zone.
The symbol "U" is shown at the cooking zone's display.
Deactivating Keep Warm:
To deactivate this function it's enough to change the level of the selected cooking
zone.
Selected hotplate must be activated.
• By touching the slide sensor (E) at the start, bring the power setting to "0". Short
beep confirms the OFF position.
• The hob is switched off by pressing the main (A) sensor.
• The sound signal beeps and all indicators go off, except for those hotplates which
are still hot and display the warning "H" sign as an indication of the remaining
heat.
• If you switch the hob off prior end of cooking session, use the remaining heat and
save electric energy.
By activating the key lock protection you can stop the operation of the appliance
and the use of hotplates.
Activating the control unit lock
• The cooktop must be turned on.
• Press the sensor (C) for approximately 3 seconds. The led to the right of it lights
on, the block is active
