Instructions for use
Read these instructions carefully before using the HEINE mPack LL
keep them in a safe place for future reference.

Safety Information

Range of applications: The HEINE mPack LL
for use with HEINE LED LoupeLight
support is designed for use with HEINE headbands and S-Frames only.
General Safety: All repairs should be carried out by qualified personnel, with
the exception of a battery change with mPack LL. When changing the battery,
use only the original rechargeable battery HEINE Li-ion mPack LL
Safety in use:
• Follow the instructions supplied with the unit regarding installation of the
instrument support and the wall-mounting bracket.
• For wall-mounting, be sure to use the instrument support (1) supplied with
the unit to be sure that the instrument is located safely. Always use the
instrument support (8) for the S-Frame. Be sure to attach the S-Frame securely
to the instrument support as shown in (9).
• Make sure that the local mains voltage is the same as that shown on the
identification plate of the plug-in transformer.
• Use only the appropriate HEINE plug-in transformer to connect the unit to
the local mains supply.
• If not used for long periods, unplug the mains transformer from the mains.
• The ideal temperature for charging is between +10° and +35 °C.
• Do not use the HEINE mPack LL
present.
• We can only guarantee the safety and performance of this unit if it is fitted
with original HEINE accessories and spare parts.
• When moving from a cold to a warm environment, leave the power source
switched off for up to one hour to allow it to adapt to the new conditions.
• The mPack LL has been tested for electro-magnetic compatibility and
radiation. The unit is approved for use in a medical environment.
