Dismantling the rear-mounted bicycle rack
1. Turn plug (20) anti-clockwise and pull it out of plug socket (21) of the
trailer electrical systems.
2. Insert plug (20) into the bracket on rack (1).

3. Unlock clamping lever (16) with key (3).
4. Press securing device (19) and swing clamping lever (16) upwards.
Note
Release securing device (19) and do not press it during the following
step.
5. Raise rack (1) on the frame (short arrow) slightly. Press clamping
lever (16) approx. 45° downwards to allow support (17) to open.
Remove rack (1) from the vehicle.
6. Press securing device (19) and swing clamping lever (16)
downwards.
Mounting a licence plate

1. Pull clamps (22) on the rear of licence plate bracket (23) upwards.
2. Insert the licence plate into holding rail (4).
3. Insert the licence plate into licence plate bracket (23) and allow
holding rail (4) to engage.
Caution
Ensure that the clips are closed correctly. Otherwise, the clips may
open and the holding rail with the licence plate may become loose
while the vehicle is moving.
4. Push clamps (22) on the rear of licence plate bracket (23)
downwards.
Note
Holding rail (4) can be turned to allow licence plates of different heights
to be inserted. Depending on the height, the licence plate can be inserted
into the upper or lower groove (arrow).

Removing the licence plate
1. Pull clamps (22) on the rear of licence plate bracket (23) upwards.
2. Remove holding rail (4) from licence plate bracket (23) using a
screwdriver.
3. Remove the licence plate and holding rail (4).
4. Push clamps (22) on the rear of licence plate bracket (23)
downwards.
Fitting/removing bicycles

WARNING
The rear-mounted bicycle rack is designed to transport bicycles.
Make sure that:
no other items are transported on the rear-mounted bicycle rack
•
every bicycle is fixed in position with a bracket and an additional
•
strap at the front and rear wheel.
all loose parts, e. g. child seat, battery, air pumps, drinks bottles,
•
bicycle baskets, etc. have been removed and are securely stowed
before fitting the respective bicycle on the rear-mounted bicycle
rack.
Otherwise, the bicycles and/or the loose parts could come loose
while the vehicle is in motion, e. g. during braking manoeuvres. There
is a risk of an accident.

1. Press tensioner (24) and pull out tensioning strap (25).
2. Insert strap (25) in bracket (26).
3. Unlock bracket (9) with key (3).
4. Pull latch (11) and pull out tensioning strap (12).
5. Press the „PUSH" button and push the wheel holders on rails (8) to
the centre.
Mounting the first bicycle
Caution
Mount heavier bicycles closer to the vehicle and lighter bicycles
(e. g. children's bicycles) further towards the rear of the
rear-mounted bicycle rack.
Always distribute the load on the rear-mounted bicycle rack as
symmetrically as possible to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
Turn the handlebars of the first bicycle to the side to prevent a
collision between the vehicle and the handlebars. The vehicle could
otherwise be damaged.
Only secure the rack to the bicycle frame. Make sure no other
components, e.g. brake and gear cables, can become trapped.
Reposition the bracket on the bar if necessary; see page 8. Replace
defective brackets immediately.
