8. NOISE LEVELS
The pressure pump has been designed and fabricated for outdoor use. The use foreseen by
INTERNACO, S.A. together with its dimensions, size, shape and weight, means that it can be used as
a mobile unit outdoors.
This pressure pump conforms to the provision set out in Directive 2000/14/EC regarding sound
emissions in the environment due to the outdoor use of machines, applied in Spanish legislation
through the R.D. 212/2002, 22 February.
The measurement of the noise produced by this pressure pump has been carried out by a Control
Body Authorised by the Government following the specifications of Standard UNE-EN ISO 3744:1996
and as a result it has a plaque which indicates the noise level guaranteed, in this case 105 dB.
INTERNACO, S. A. clarifies that the user is responsible for the application of the content in Directive
86/188/EEC applied in Spanish legislation through the R.D. 1316/1989, 27 October, on the protection
of workers against the risks of being exposed to noise during work. To comply with this directive, the
noise level in each work post that is exposed to the noise of the pressure pump must be measured.
