INSTALLATION
Preparations
3. Preparations
Material losses
!
Observe the maximum load bearing capacity of the
support (see chapter „Specification / Data table").
f Ensure that the wall structure is able to bear the weight
f
force exerted by the external unit plus wall mounting
support.
f Select suitable screws and rawl plugs to secure the system
f
rails on the wall.
Material losses
!
For the following installation steps observe the requi-
red clearance dimensions.
For information, see the operating and installation in-
structions of the external unit (chapter „Dimensions
and connections").
Note
To prevent disturbance due to structure-borne noise
transmission, never install the wall mounting bracket
on the external walls of living areas or bedrooms.
f Install the wall mounting bracket, for example, on
f
a garage wall.
f Mark out the positions of the holes to be drilled on the
f
wall; for this, hold the system rails against the wall at the
required installation height.
Material losses
!
Ensure that no cables/water pipes are damaged th-
rough drilling the holes.
4. Mounting

Wall mounting support
f Insert the screws through the washers (10 mm diameter)
f
into the rail supports.
f Counter the screws with the slide nuts. Secure the slide
f
nuts lightly.
6 |
f Set the rail supports onto the system rails.
f
f Guide the rail supports to the top end of the system rails.
f
For this, hold the rail supports against the open side of the
system rails.
f Slide the rail supports over the system rails by inserting
f
the slide nuts into the system rails.
f Ensure that the slide nuts are across the system rails.
f
f Pull the rail supports along the system rails to the requi-
f
red height.
f Tighten the screws by hand.
