Shows the diagnostic parameters with details of the
memory capacity and the device temperature.
Displaying the event log
This setting is only visible for the Customer service
user. The event log information displayed refers to
error messages that arise during the system test.
Active and passive event logs are displayed. In con-
trast to passive events, active events and faults are
currently still ongoing.

Select the corresponding protocol to display the
error messages and results of the system test.
Installing software updates
By default, the charger checks for software updates
and downloads them. This setting stipulates whether
the software updates should be installed automati-
cally or manually.
Software version: Displays the just installed software
version.

Information
In order to search for and download software up-
dates, the device must have an Internet connection.
Performing automatically
With this function activated, the charger installs the
software update automatically.

Select the function Automatic software updates.
Performing manually
A message appears in the device status of the over-
view when a new software version is available.

vated.

Select the Perform software update button to
start the installation.
Perform diagnostic data upload
b The Wall Charger Connect is connected to the
back end.
1. Navigate within the Web Application to Settings
e Maintenance.
2. Select the area Diagnostics.
3. Select Transfer diagnostic data and in the win-
dow that appears confirm your selection with
Accept.
4. Await confirmation and then close the window
with Cancel.
�� The current diagnostic data has now been
uploaded. The diagnostic data is only visible
for the Customer service user.

Saving settings

Your configuration settings and the data already col-
lected can be saved with the aid of a backup. If
needed, e.g. after resetting to factory settings, these
settings can be restored from the backup. Backups
are created manually in the web application.
No passwords or personal data, such as the charging
history, are saved in the backup.
Creating a backup
For the manual backup, the data is saved on your end
device.
b The end device and the charger are in the same
network.
1. Select Export.
2. Navigate to the memory location.
3. Save backup file.
Assign password: Enter password.
The password protects your data and must be
entered when importing or restoring the backup.
Restore backup
A saved backup file can be imported from the end
device to the charger.

1. Select the Import button.
2. Navigate to the backup file and select this.
3. Enter the password that was used to save it.
