Cleaning

Before you start to clean the set, switch it off and pull the mains plug from the socket.
Cleaning the screen
● Use a mild cleaning agent together with a soft cloth to clean the screen.
● The cleaning agent must not contain any ketones (e.g. acetone) or ethyl alcohols.
● Do not use abrasive cleaners!
Cleaning the casing
● Do not use any chemical solutions and cleaning agents to clean the casing since they may
damage the flat panel.
● If you clean the casing surface with a damp cloth, water droplets may get into the set and
cause malfunctions.
● Use a hoover with a soft brush attachment to clean the ventilation slots.

Conformity

This TV set is subject to the normal standards which apply to electronic entertainment equipment
and is not suitable for word processing or similar information technology applications.
The set complies with the following EU directive and standards:
● 89/336/ECCE of 3 May 1989 with later modifications (Directive 92/31/ECCE of April 1992 and
Directive 93/68/ECCE of 22 July 1993)
● 73/23/ECCE of 19 February 1973 with later modifications (Directive 93/68/ECCE of 22 July
1993)
● EN60065 (safety requirements).
Compliance with the requirements is certified by the CE symbol attached to the product.
The manufacturer cannot be made liable for use that does not comply with the operating conditions
as described in this operating manual. In addition, your product liability and warranty claims become
null and void if the set is not operated in accordance with the instructions.
