Never suspend the pump by the hose.
Ensure that the equipment is
not hung up or held by the
mains cable. There is a risk
of electric shock from dam-
aged mains cables.
Note that, over time, dirt and sand
may collect on the bottom of the
shaft, which could damage the
pump.
We recommend standing the pump
on a brick.
If the water level is too low, the silt
in the shaft can quickly dry out and
impede the pump when warming
up.

Mains Connection

The pump you have purchases is already
fitted with an earthed plug. The equipment
is designed for connection to an earthed
wall socket with a residual current operat-
ed device (RCD switch) at 230 V ~ 50Hz.

Connecting the Pressure Line

The pump is installed
-
Either with a fixed pipeline
-
Or with a flexible hose line.
1. Screw the bracket adapter (10)
onto the pump outlet (3).
2. Insert the seal (12b) into the
backflow preventer (12).
3. Insert the backflow preventer
(12) between the angle adapter
(10) and reducer (9) in such
a way that the valve opens in
the direction of flow and closes
against the direction of flow.
24
4. Fit the hose over the reducer (9)
and secure it with a hose clamp.
Or use a screw connection at
the bracket adapter (10) or the
reducer (9).

the pump for connection of the angle
adapter (10) or for direct connection
of a hose with a 1½" external thread;
Outlet with 1½" external thread at the

bracket adapter (10) for connection of
the reducer (9) or a 1½" screw con-
nection;
Outlet on reducer (9) for connection of
Ž
a 1¼" or 1½" hose as a compression
joint (fixing with a hose clamp);
Outlet with 1" external thread at the re-

ducer (9) for connection of a 1" screw
connection;
Outlet with 1½" thread at the reducer

(9) for connection of a 1"hose as
clamp connection (fixing with a hose
clamp).
Note that the particle size may
be max. 19 mm if the reducer
(Ø 19.3 mm) is used, otherwise
the reducer and hose can become
blocked.
To increase pump output, the backflow
stopper (12) may be taken out of the angle
adaptor (10) (see
stopper"). This is particularly recom-
mended for hose connections smaller than
1". Please bear in mind that the water may
then flow back during pumping, or in the
event of a power cut.
