• If the resistance unit is to remain inactive for a long
period of time, completely remove the unit from the
frame and place it in its original box.
In this case, the removal of the power supply cable
and cadence sensor and their storage with the
console and the USB ANT key in an environment
that protects them from moisture is recommended.
PACKING
Whenever the roller has to be shipped for assistance
or for some other reason, special attention must be
paid to ensure its correct packing.
• If it's connected, unplug the ground cable (Ref. Z)
between unit and frame.
• Remove the resistance unit from stand, undoing
the 2 screws fixing it to the support plate.
• Detach all the cables from the resistance unit (power
supply cable – ref. U; cadence sensor cable – ref. H)
• Keep people, children and animals away from
the roller during use, since the moving and rota-
ting parts of the roller and the bicycle can cause
damage in case of contact.
• Before starting training, position the trainer
in a dry place, away from potentially hazardous
objects (furniture, tables, chairs, etc.) in order to
avoid any risk of inadvertent or accidental con-
tact with them.
• The resistance unit becomes warm when in use.
Wait until it has cooled before touching shells.
• Do not brake when using the trainer, as this can
permanently damage the roller and the tyre.
• The stand is designed for use by just one cyclist.
• Check the safety and stability of the bicycle be-
fore every training session.
• If the quick release is not compatible with the
bushings of the stand, replace it with the one
supplied (T).
• Unplug all cables from the resistance unit – ref. U;
cadence sensor cable – ref. H; ground cable (ref. Z)
(if connected).
• Remove the USB ANT key from the PC.
• Remove the cadence sensor from the bicycle frame.
• Put the cables, cadence sensor, power adapter, con-
sole and USB ANT key inside a container in a dry place.
• Pack the resistance unit in its original box. If
this box is not available, pack the unit, paying
particular attention to the flywheel. During
shipments, packs often undergo mistreatment
and very hard impacts, therefore inadequate
packing can result in permanent damage to the
roller. This type of damage is not covered by the
warranty. Pack the roller as though it had to be
dropped with box from a height of 1 metre.
Note: Before sending the roller or any other
component assistance, always firstly consult Elite
or the distributor.
ATTENTION
• There are no individually usable components
on the inside. The warranty is invalidated if the
unit is opened or tampered with.
• Since the feet are made from soft non-slip ma-
terial, during use they may leave rubber marks
on the floor.
• During use of the
with Elastogel roller, slight wear of the roller
is to be considered normal. Tests carried out at
Elite show that after continuous use for 20000
km, roller wear is around 0.1 mm, and as the to-
tal thickness is 11 mm, far greater wear does not
prevent correct operation of the trainer. Claims
due to improper or careless use will not be
acknowledged. Possible slight wear of the rub-
ber part comes within the norm.
• Use with narrow tyres or with non-optimum
tyre pressures can permanently damage the
Elastogel roller.
• Pay attention to the pressure between tyre and
roller: tighten the plate adjustment screw three
complete turns from when the roller touches the
