NOTE
The noise emission values stated in these in-
structions have been measured according to
a standardised measurement procedure and
can be used for comparing the appliances.
The noise emission values will vary according
to the use of the air tool and may in some
cases be higher than those indicated in these
instructions. It is easy to underestimate the
noise emission levels if the compressed air
tool is used regularly in this manner.

General safety
WARNING!
instructions for com-
pressed air tools
WARNING!
PLEASE READ THE OPERATING INSTRUC-
TIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE. THEY ARE
A PART OF THIS APPLIANCE AND MUST
BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES!
Basic safety precautions must be taken when
using compressed air tools to eliminate the
risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for dam-
age or personal injury resulting from failure to
observe these operating instructions.
The specified hazards are foreseeable for the
general use of hand-held pneumatic tools.
However, the user must also assess specific risks
that may arise from each use.
RISK OF INJURY!
Disconnect the compressed air supply before
changing tools, adjusting and servicing.
RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Never use petrol or other flammable liquids
to clean the compressed air tool! Sparks can
ignite vapours remaining in the compressed
air tool and lead to an explosion of the
compressed air tool. Do not operate the
compressed air tool in explosive atmospheres
or environments with flammable liquids,
gases or dust. Do not work with any materials
that are or could be easily inflammable or
explosive.
