Mechanical installation
Note
If a clamping rod has insufficient surface quality, it may lead to the maximum
clamping force not being reached.
S Make sure that the rod has the required quality (è Technical specifications).
if a housing is used:
Note
There will be increased wear as the holes
are not aligned exactly.
S Make sure of the following:
the tolerance field of the hole for
holding the clamping cartridge KP
must correspond to size D9
(DIN ISO 286)
on the housing 2 slide bearings with
a maximum deviation in alignment of
0.05 mm must be used.
Note
The clamping rod can only be fitted when
the screw is screwed in or when com
pressed air connection 2 is pressurized.
S Pressurize compressed air connection
2 in order to fit the clamping rod or
S Remove the screw when the clamping
rod has been fitted.
The clamping cartridge type KP is sup
plied wth a screw (M5, G1/8).
