3.1.6. Place glass jug in its original position.
3.1.7. Note that the lid should be fitted securely.
3.1.8. Start the brewing process by pressing the "on/
off" button
3.2 Use and care:
1. Make sure that all the product's packaging has
been removed.
2. Before making coffee for the first time, we
recommend using the coffee maker twice with
water only, in order to clean the system.
3. The water tank must be filled with water before
turning the appliance on.
4. Lift the lid
5. Fill the compartment with cold water.
6. Fill the tank observing the MAX and MIN levels
according to the number of cups of coffee that
are required
7. Close the lid.
8. Open the filter holder. (Fig. 2)
9. Remove the filter holder.
10. Fill the removable filter with ground coffee
11. Check that the removable filter is perfectly fitted
into the filter holder.
12. Fit the filter holder in the appliance once more.
13. You can use the measuring spoon to add coffee.
Use:
1. Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
2. Fill the water tank as described above.
3. Fill with coffee powder as described above.
4. Place the glass carafe on the heating plate.
5. Connect the appliance to the mains.
6. Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch.
7. The pilot light comes on.
8. The glass carafe can be removed while the cof-
fee is being made. The anti-drip system prevents
the coffee from spilling when the glass carafe is
not in its position. However, if the glass carafe
is kept out of its position for over 30 seconds,
before all the water has passed through the filter,
the filter may overflow.
9. If you want to keep the coffee hot, place the
glass carafe on the heating plate without switch-
ing off the coffee maker.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
4.1.1. DESCALING
To ensure a long lifespan of the coffee maker, you
will need to de-scale it from time to time. Frequency
will depend on how hard the water is in your area,
and how often you use the coffee maker. If you use
your coffee maker once or twice a day, the following
guidelines for de-scaling should be used:
•Soft water, every 6 months.
•Medium water, every 2-3 months.
•Hard water, every 6-8 weeks.
If the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee is suddenly
increased, it is recommended that the coffee maker
be de-scaled. The harder the water is in your area, the
more often the coffee maker needs to be de-scaled.

local waterworks

5. Anomalies and repair
5.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support
centre if product is damaged or other problems arise.
5.2. If the connection to the mains has been dam-
aged, it must be replaced and you should proceed as
you would in the case of damage.
