Installing the Display Control Unit, DCU2
1.
Use the enclosed full-size hole template for installation of
the DCU2. The template is in figure 4.
2.
Position the hole template on the bracket (4) at the location
where the display will be installed. Make markings. See
figure 1.
3.
Double check that the dimensions of the DCU2 correspond
to the dimensions of the markings before cutting.
4.
Cut out an opening for the installation of the DCU2.
NOTE! Cut the opening along the inner side of the line on
the template.
5.
Drill the four holes for the attachment screws (5).
NOTE! Select a drill diameter that fits M5 screw. The
bracket may be made of different kind of material and may
have different thickness. Take into account the thickness
and kind of material in your choice of a drill.
6. Mount the bracket (4) onto the bracket (8). Use 4 rubber
mounted screws (6) and 8 nuts (7) as shown on Fig 1.
10±1,5 Nm (7.4±1.1 lbf ft)
Tightening torque
7. Connect the cable to the back side of the DCU2 as
shown on Fig 2-B.
8. Install the DCU2 using 4 screws (5) and lock the screws
with a thread-locking fluid to prevent loosening caused by
vibration. See Fig 1.
Tightening torque 2,7±0,1 Nm (2.0±0.07 lbf ft).
9. Cover the screen with the protective cover (3).
NOTE! The screen of the display is sensitive to the exces-
sive heat. Protect the screen of the display using protective
cover when the unit is not in use.

should be maximum 3 meters (10 ft) long.
Cable to the engine should be maximum 30 meters
(98.4 ft) long.
