Instructions for use
• Place your appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
Before you use your appliance for the first time :
• Press the button to open the appliance (3).
• To remove the plates: press the buttons (5).
To put the plates back in position, slide each plate at an angle and press on the plate to lock it into place.
Using the appliance :
• Ensure that the plates are stable, well positioned and correctly clipped to the appliance.
• Close the appliance.
• Check that the switch is in "0" position.
• Connect the cord into the mains. Turn on the switch (4) (position 1). The red light will light up (1).
• Allow the appliance to pre-heat, the green light comes on when the correct cooking temperature is reached.
• Open the appliance and place the preparations on the plates.
• Close the appliance.
• Leave the preparations to cook for the desired time.
• During the cooking time, it is normal that the pilot light turns on and off intermittently.
• When cooking is complete, switch off the appliance by pressing "0". Unplug the electrical cord from the wall
socket.
• Let the appliance cool down (approximately 1 hour).
Cleaning
• Unplug the appliance. Leave it to cool down before cleaning.
• Leave the appliance to cool down (about 1 hour) in an open position before removing the plates .
• To clean the outside of the appliance, use a damp sponge and wipe dry carefully.
• To clean the plates, use a damp sponge and washing-up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry carefully.
• The plates are dishwasher safe.
Storing
• The appliance can be stored vertically to save space. Wind up the cord into the cord storage area.

Environment protection first!
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled.
Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.
Mini-waffles with brown sugar
• Mix 250 g flour,
• 150 g light brown sugar,
• 100 g butter,
• 2 g baking powder and one egg.
Leave to rest for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Make 4 plum-sized balls, flatten them with your palm and cook for 3 minutes.
