Connecting wireless devices to your ADSL Modem/Router
A Wi-Fi compatible computer, smartphone, tablet, smart TV, game station, or other device can
access the Internet wirelessly through your ADSL Modem/Router. You can connect up to 253
devices wirelessly. To make the wireless connection, follow these steps:

First locate the wireless connection setup on your device, and then select the ADSL
Modem/Router network with the same name as the Wireless Network (SSID) name on the
bottom of your ADSL Modem/Router.

Next you will be prompted to enter the Security Key or Password for your wireless network.
The WPA/WPA2 security key is printed on the large label on the bottom of your ADSL
Modem/Router and is unique to you.

Open your device's browser and go to a website to test your wireless setup. If it works,
congratulations! If it doesn't, please see the Troubleshooting Tips in the User Manual on
your CD, if you did not receive a CD with your unit, the User Manual can be found at

Connecting wired devices to your ADSL Modem/Router's Ethernet/LAN

Shut down and power off the computer you want to connect to the ADSL Modem/Router.
(This is important because the computer must locate the correct IP address for the modem.
This is done when the computer is turned back on in step 3 below.)

Plug an Ethernet cable between any one of the modem's available ETHERNET ports and any
of the computer's available Ethernet ports. Then turn on the computer or game station. An
Ethernet LED on your modem's top panel should turn on, corresponding to the Ethernet port
you used.

Verify that your Internet connection is working for that computer. Open your Web browser (for
instance, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, or Chrome) and try to connect to a familiar Web
address.
