PLAYBACK OF MP3 FILES FROM USB

Connection
The unit can play MP3 files via USB.
1. Switch the unit to standby mode or any mode other than CD/USB
before using USB.
2. Connect a USB storage device.
3. Switch on the unit or select Tuner/CD using the function selection
button (4).
4. The unit automatically starts loading and displays the number of MP3
files.
5. The operation is the same as for CD/MP3 playback.
Note: If you try to insert the storage medium the wrong way round, the
unit may be damaged. Check for correct alignment before inserting.
Notes:
• The unit can only read MP3 files via USB.
• If you connect an MP3 player to the unit via USB, it may not be
recognised as a USB memory device. This is not a malfunction.
• The USB connection is not designed for USB extensions or direct
connection to a PC.
