HOW TO USE THE CELLBLASTER
Step 1: Connect the AC adapter to the CellBlaster, and plug it into an appropriate
AC outlet.
Step 2: Open the lid, and place the mobile device into the mobile device holder on
top of the UV tube.
NOTE: If your mobile device is in a case, then sanitize with the case attached.
Step 3: Close the lid securely, and the automatic sanitizing cycle will begin.
Step 4: Sanitize both sides for complete cleaning of the mobile device.
Once the UV sanitizing cycle starts, the LED light strip will glow blue. The blue light will
turn off automatically after 30 seconds when the sanitizing is complete.
NOTE: If your cell phone/personal device is frequently exposed to a higher level of
germs, bacteria or viruses (such as in a hospital or doctor's office), it is recommended
that you sanitize it several times per day.
CELL PHONE CHARGING
The CellBlaster is designed so that a cell phone can be charged during sanitizing. Plug
the charging cable into the phone as usual, and then route the cord from the phone's
charger through the side groove in the scanning bed. Next plug the cord into a wall
outlet to charge it. The sanitizing cycle will begin automatically when the case lid is
fully closed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
he CellBlaster comes equipped with a 4-watt germicidal (254nm) UV tube. When the
T
tube is functioning properly, the LED light strip will glow a solid blue color during the
sanitizing cycle. However, if the LED light strip flashes continually while the lid
is closed, this indicates that the tube is damaged or defective and should be
replaced.
If the tube in your CellBlaster needs to be replaced at some point, please return
the entire unit to Spectro-UV or your local authorized CellBlaster distributor. Please
contact the Customer Service Department at Spectro-UV prior to returning the unit to
us in order to first receive a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions.
