Using the laser pointer
• To turn on the laser pointer, remove its
protective cap and push and hold the
Laser button (A5).
• To turn off the laser pointer, release the
button (A5).
NOTE: The laser pointer may not be
enabled in all markets.
Previewing an image
To preview an image, push the Preview/
Save button (C1). Push again to go to the
live image mode.
Saving an image
To save an image, push and hold the
Preview/Save button (C1) for more than
one second.
Changing the palette
1 In the toolbox, select Palette and push
the joystick (B12).
2 To select the palette you want to use,
use the joystick (B12).
3 Push the joystick (B12) to confirm the
choice.
4 To confirm and leave the dialog box,
push the Mode button (B13).
Remove a spot meter
1 In the toolbox, select the Tools tab.
2 Select Spot and push the joystick.
3 Select Hide and push the joystick. The
spot meter has now been removed.
Return to the mode selector
To return to the mode selector, push the
Mode button (B13).

• The camera serial number
• The communication protocol, or
method, between the camera and your
PC (for example, Ethernet, USB™, or
FireWire™)
• Operating system on your PC
• Microsoft® Office version
• Full name, publication number, and
revision number of the manual

your camera.
